OTB was created by Owner Courtney Stache & Training Manager Shannon McKechnie. Both Courtney and Shannon came to the fitness industry with a background in dance and have over 15 years of combined experience leading both spin and pilates classes in Toronto and London, Ontario. OTB was designed to celebrate moving your body in a way that is realistic, supportive and adaptable for growth while moving to the beat of the music using primarily your bodyweight and small weights. Lost OTB wants you to see how strong you are as you are. Our inclusive space is designed to make strength feel safe and welcoming. Lost OTB focuses on creating a stronger foundation with strength based movements that allow our bodies to balance the high intensity experience we get from a Lost spin class or other cardio outlet. This class encourages you to move freely and tap into your own emotional and mental road blocks to welcome freedom and just get LOST in the experience.
OTB is a combination of pilates inspired movements with basic bodyweight strength movements and a little bit of dance! We use traditional pilates movements such as 100s, leg circles and boat pose with classic strength movements such as squats, planks and lunges. From there we incorporate more fluid movements you would see in dance or self expression to create a flow that the room can move together through. We want clients to experience the same joy of getting LOST in our spin class but now on the mat using their own bodyweight and minimal equipment.
