Bio: From dancing in front of a television as a toddler to growing up dancing on stage, my life has always included music and movement – it is my happy place! Before instructing OTB classes I competitively danced and taught Barre Fitness for 8 years. Outside of instructing you will catch me rollerblading, dancing my heart out and enjoying my hammock time.
Class Style: Strength and Connection are a big focus for my classes. In my OTB class, I want you to feel connected to the music and feel strong through movement progressions. My classes are structured in a way that allow you to flow naturally from beginning to end. I love a good creative and flowing sequence that challenges you, while making you feel empowered to keep going.
Music: Music is the key to the soul! I focus on playlists that flow with the movements in class, to give you that extra push when our mind says we can’t do that last count of 8. I like music that builds with us and brings out those feelings! You will hear EDM, house, Florence, NF and remixes!
Why I get LOST: For me, movement and music got me through life, even the times that I felt overwhelmed. It has allowed me to get lost in the moment and enjoy all the things life has to bring. I was always looking for a way to bring together movement and strength in a way that felt balanced, challenging and empowering. We all walk into class for a different reason, and that’s the beauty of group fitness – we can move together to the rhythm and beats regardless of what brought us to that moment.
