Bio: My name is Kelsey, friends call me Kels and Starbucks calls me anything but, still love them though. Born and raised in London, just around the corner from Lost actually…some people would say it was fate. Outside of LOST, I’m a Registered Nurse. I love shopping, going on walks, spending time with my family and trying out crafts, like pottery and watercolour. A perfect night would include skin care, popcorn and a comfort show/movie. Cringey teen dramas are my guilty pleasure (as I write this as A Cinderella Story is on my laptop…a true classic).
Class Style: My ultimate goal is to leave you feeling confident! Not just in who you are but what your mind and body can accomplish. You can do hard things and I want to help prove that to you and be part of your journey of fitness and self discovery! Together we will FEEL the beat by working through a balanced class with fun jogs, fast sprints and my favourite…what I LIVE for…heavy hitting climbs and a vibey ride home to reflect on all of your hard work. I want you to have fun, and to walk out of our class feeling accomplished, empowered and like an absolute (as the kids would say) baddie. You just did that! And it was amazing! Let that sink in.
Music: A good song, is a good song, no matter the genre! After a short break in training, I took a whole new approach to music selection and now choose songs I absolutely LOVE and hope you will too! Expect songs with a strong beat and dance vibe. I gravitate towards electronic, EDM and pop remixes. I want to say nothing is off limits but country may be excluded from my playlists, never say never though.
Why I get LOST: LOST is my favourite form of self care (followed closely by face masks.) It is so much more than fitness, it’s a community, an experience, a time to believe in yourself and your capabilities. I’ll be the first to admit that I have felt every emotion in the dark room, happiness, pride, a beautiful release of sadness and anger, and sometimes even tears. The homey environment when you walk in to the unmatched atmosphere in the darkroom and the unbelievably kind and welcoming staff have lifted me up countless times. I started riding in Fall 2021 and am so grateful to have found this community. LOST brought me back to my true self after a difficult time and I am on a journey to pay it forward. You matter, we got this, together!
